An Update on New Locations of Our San Mateo Region Offices

As our 20th anniversary of supporting vulnerable families in San Mateo County approaches, Edgewood will be moving from the 957 Industrial Road office in San Carlos. Beginning December 16, our Turning Point Child & Youth (TPCY) and Therapeutic Based Services (TBS) programs will be moving to our office at 170 South Spruce Avenue, Suite 200 in South San Francisco. Effective January 27, the Transition Age Youth Full Service Partnership (TAY FSP) programs will be located at 1510 Fashion Island Blvd., Suite 310  in San Mateo.

We are still looking for a permanent home for the ASIS Program. Programming will continue through this transition. Contact Jade Martinez, program manager, for further details at jadem@edgewood.org or 650.832.6716.

Our two TAY Drop-in Centers at 931 San Bruno Avenue, Suite 1, in San Bruno, and at 604 Price Avenue, Suite A, in Redwood City will remain at the same locations and will provide the same range of services to emerging adults ages 18 to 25 through this period of transition.

These moves will allow us to continue effectively serve our children and families while reducing administrative costs in the very costly Silicon Valley commercial real estate market. Edgewood remains committed to continuing to provide the same level of a comprehensive range of behavioral health services to the community through and after the transition to these new office locations.

What began modestly in the year 2000 with just one staff member providing kinship services has grown to be one of the largest providers of behavioral health services on the Peninsula. Today, our staff of 90 in San Mateo County serve 2,600 youth, families, and emerging adults each year. Our 13 years at the 957 Industrial Road location has allowed us to expand and provide vital community services. We look forward to continuing to serve the families of the San Mateo Region in our new locations.
