Support Our Families on National Day of Service

Dear Friends,

The Presidential Inauguration Committee is crafting an event next week like no other. Traditions will be honored, showcasing the strength and resilience of our nation, bringing Americans together to mark a new beginning for our country through a series of virtual events.

Edgewood Center for Children and Families of San Francisco will be partnering with the Presidential Inaugural Committee’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. The Inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris promises to be a day of hope and healing and by supporting your community and giving to those hardest hit by Covid-19, you honor the new leadership in service to others.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

1. Order Items on MLK Day Monday January 18th to be delivered for our Supply Drive on January 21st. As part of the Inauguration event, Edgewood will be organizing a supply drive to support our community’s most vulnerable families. Items for babies, toys, and toiletries are just some of the many items on Edgewood’s Amazon “Wish List” which can be found here: Amazon Wish List

2. You may choose to do a contact-less drop off to the Edgewood food bank on Thursday January 21st between 9:00am and 12:00pm. 1801 Vicente Street. Items needed include boxed diapers, baby formula and cleaning supplies. For more information visit www.Edgewood.org
