Maria Guillory joined Edgewood in October 2017 as Chief Advancement Officer. She manages a comprehensive and diversified fund development strategy to sustain and grow revenues from individual donors, corporate and foundation giving, planned giving, and other funding streams. Maria’s team recently successfully secured a 7-figure gift from OSHPD to position Edgewood to offer workforce development training for psychiatric nurses in California.
Ms. Guillory earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in Journalism from the University of Texas at Dallas. While there, she also earned a Masters Degree in Public Affairs with emphasis on Nonprofit Management. She is a dedicated executive with over 20 years of experience in leadership positions in nonprofit, human service organizations and institutions of higher education. Her career fundraising exceeds $80 million in cash and in-kind contributions. She has spent the last 6 years in her own consulting business working nationwide with a focus on strategic fundraising, board development, and training in the areas of higher education, STEM and in workforce development related to nonprofits.
