Executive Team
Kristen Barbarics
Chief Advancement Officer
Kristen is a seasoned nonprofit leader with 20+ years of executive and senior level experience driving growth for organizations, with a focus on children’s health and social services. She most recently served as Executive Director of Development at the Children’s Eye Foundation, where she spearheaded transformative revenue growth, led strategic marketing and programmatic initiatives, and built dynamic, high-impact volunteer boards and committees. Her leadership track record spans top institutions including UCSF Health and Harvard University. A passionate advocate for children, Kristen has supported youth through individual tutoring, arts-based therapy, and board service for a Bay Area-focused nonprofit improving hospital experiences for pediatric patients. She is inspired by Edgewood’s approach to mental healthcare for youth—one that is evidence-based, effective, and deeply compassionate. She holds degrees from Boston University (BA), Harvard University (EdM), and Simmons University (MBA).

Angela Buelow
Senior Director of Programs
America joined the Executive Team as Senior Director of Programs in October 2022. She first began her work with the Edgewood community in 2013 as the San Francisco Director of Quality Assurance and Improvement, where she led the Quality Assurance Department and guided San Francisco Programs and Edgewood Departments through key improvement initiatives—including achieving national accreditation by The Joint Commission while serving as the agency’s Compliance Officer.
Before her time at Edgewood, America managed community-based mental health services across Marin, Sonoma, and Alameda counties through her leadership roles at Side by Side and Lincoln Child Center. In these positions, she was instrumental in expanding mental health services while ensuring high-quality program delivery across multiple service areas.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University.
A lifelong San Franciscan, America enjoys discovering the city’s vibrant neighborhoods, cultural gems, and hidden treasures with her loved ones.

Lynn Dolce, MFT
Chief Executive Officer
Lynn Dolce is the Chief Executive Officer of Edgewood, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to serving youth, and families facing mental health challenges, trauma, and systemic barriers. With more than 30 years of leadership experience in behavioral health, education, and social services, Lynn is a champion for equity, innovation, and community-driven care.
Under her leadership, Edgewood has expanded its trauma-informed services across the Bay Area, deepening its commitment to culturally responsive programs that promote healing and resilience. Lynn’s strategic vision has helped secure critical public and private partnerships, bringing sustainable resources to some of the region’s most underserved populations.
A family therapist by training, she has been recognized in the San Francisco Bay Area as a leader in the field of children’s mental health. Ms. Dolce previously served as the Director for Foster Care Mental Health at the San Francisco Department of Public Health where she provided exemplary leadership overseeing all behavioral health services for children and their families.
She is the co-founder of the San Francisco Department of Public Health Trauma Informed System of Care curriculum (TIS) that is now considered a SAMHSA-endorsed national model for organizational change. Ms. Dolce also developed and advanced an APA-approved multicultural clinical training program for doctoral students interested in pediatric mental health services for children at UCSF, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. In partnership with the San Francisco General Hospital Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry, she developed and oversaw outpatient mental health services. She served on the clinical faculty at UCSF until 2020. She lives in San Francisco with her wife and is the proud parent of two grown sons.

Babak Motie
Chief Operating Officer
Babak Motie started his career in public accounting assisting local, national, and international for-profit and nonprofit organizations with accounting and tax planning, management consulting and mergers and acquisitions. Since exiting the public accounting world, Babak has held high level finance and operations positions at various for-profit and nonprofit organizations over the past two+ decades. Prior to joining Edgewood, Babak was the Chief Financial Officer for Peer Health Exchange, an innovative and entrepreneurial health education nonprofit bringing knowledge and skills to underserved youth across the United States through both in-person teaching, as well as an internally developed computer and phone based application. Prior to joining Peer Health Exchange, Babak was the Chief Financial Officer for Roots of Peace, a nongovernmental organization with a mission to restore economic vitality in post-conflict countries. Prior to Roots of Peace, Babak was the Director of Finance and Operations at the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation (SFGHF), where he oversaw a period of rapid growth while partnering with the San Francisco Department of Public Health and the University of California, San Francisco. While at SFGHF he participated in the launch of a multi-year, $100+ million capital campaign to equip a new hospital for the underserved population of the City and County of San Francisco. Babak is a Certified Public Accountant, and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and Master’s of Science in Taxation. He loves the outdoors, visiting national parks, as well as spending a lot of time with his extended family. Babak loves international travel and learning about new and old cultures.

Robin Randall, MD, MPH
Medical Director
Dr. Randall is responsible for the medical program at Edgewood. He joined Edgewood in 1999 as an Associate Medical Director serving youth and their families in both intensive and community-based settings. In 2002, he was promoted to Medical Director. He is board certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Randall has served as a consulting psychiatrist for Westside Community Services and Walden House, Inc. He has also served as Interim Division Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Interim Program Training Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UCSF. He is also a volunteer clinical faculty member at UCSF and Site Training Director for the UCSF Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Training Program on the Edgewood campus. Dr. Randall has also held several offices in local and statewide professional psychiatry organizations including the Northern California Psychiatric Society, the Northern California Regional Organization of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the California Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Randall received his MD and MPH degrees from Tulane University School of Medicine and Tulane School of Public Health. He completed his adult and child and adolescent psychiatry training at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He is on the board of Equilibrium Dynamics, a small non-profit that teaches emotional competence. He also serves on the Community Clinics Committee of the Children’s Health Council. He was recently awarded the distinguished J. Elliot Royer Award for Excellence in Community Psychiatry from the University of California San Francisco.

Michael has over 30 years of experience as a non-profit administrator, including over a decade of international work. While most of his career was spent in higher education, he has spent the past five years as leader of the human resources functions at Edgewood. His priorities include pay equity, staff diversification, creation of training and advancement opportunities, and helping to create a sustainable and fulfilling work environment. He has a BA in Language, Culture and Society from New College of Florida, an MA in Applied Anthropology and PhD in Ethnology from the University of Kentucky, and an AA in Culinary Arts from the Cordon Bleu in Chicago.

Elizabeth Siliato
Interim Chief Program Officer
Elizabeth J. Siliato is the Chief Program Officer at Edgewood and a licensed psychotherapist with over 10 years of progressive leadership expertise in clinical and behavioral health program management. In collaboration with a strong senior leadership team, she oversees a variety of programs aimed at providing accessible mental health services throughout the Bay Area. She is especially passionate about supporting youth, families and communities through life’s most challenging moments.
Elizabeth holds a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco as well as a B.A. in English Literature from Lafayette College in PA. She is an active alumnus of Phillips Academy Andover.
