Why Edgewood

We are a leading nonprofit mental healthcare provider for San Francisco Bay Area youth and families facing mental health challenges, trauma, and family crises. We have been transforming lives since 1851, offering over 15 innovative programs in 6 locations throughout the Bay Area.

Our comprehensive services include 24-hour crisis stabilization, intensive residential care, and an array of outpatient support services. Our services reach over 3,000 community members annually.

We offer a family-centered approach and a team of dedicated professionals, many with lived experience. We empower youth and families to overcome life’s toughest obstacles, providing them with the mental healthcare and services they need to thrive.
