Angela Buelow is the Executive Director of San Mateo Region (interim) and Director of San Francisco Outpatient and Therapeutic Behavioral Services. She has served in a variety of roles at Edgewood for nearly two decades providing support for children and families that struggle with dysfunctional behaviors. She specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and was part of the team that developed a first-of-its-kind residential care program using this modality to help children with depression and self-injurious behaviors. From her experience launching a wellness startup and media brand in the 2000s, Angela brings a strategic approach and business acumen to her role on the Edgewood Executive Team. She supervises a team of program leaders and direct service providers that teach caregivers, children, and young adults healthy coping skills and strategies for creating a life worth living. Angela finds daily inspiration in the heart, advocacy, and compassion her team brings to the work.
