Youth Mental Healthcare Services and Referrals

Edgewood provides a complement of services focused on early intervention, treatment, crisis stabilization, and ongoing support for youth experiencing a mental health crisis. Our programs and services include a wide range of mental health and wrap-around support that guide youth and their families on a path to mental health and wellbeing. Our expert and multidisciplinary team includes therapists, counselors, nurses, program managers, and psychiatrists.

24/7 Crisis Support

The Crisis Stabilization Unit provides stabilization and assessment services for youth as young as 5 and up to 17 who are experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms or a mental health crisis.

Edgewood Outpatient Therapy Clinic

Designed to support youth up to the age of 25 and their families at home, at school, or in the community with an emphasis on skill-building and individualized support.

Acute Intensive Mental Health Services

Youth ages 12 to 17 exhibiting high-risk behaviors are assessed, stabilized, and treated on our seven-acre campus in the Sunset District of San Francisco.

Edgewood Community School

We provide a non-public school for high school youth between the ages of 14 and 22 who have been diagnosed with serious emotional disturbance and require a structured therapeutic environment while they continue their academic courses.

Community Based Services

Edgewood provides mental health treatment and supportive services for youth and families out of six locations in San Francisco, Concord, and San Mateo County.

County Contracted Services

Children and youth ages 3-25 are eligible for our therapeutic services in San Mateo and San Francisco counties with a referral from county or community mental health agency.

We provide high-value training and professional development for mental health practitioners.
