Path to Possibility

Edgewood Students Celebrate Healing and Achievement at Graduation

Edgewood beamed with pride in September as seven extraordinary seniors turned their tassels and took their next steps toward bright, hopeful futures after graduating from Edgewood Community School, a Non-Public School.

Our CEO, Lynn Dolce, kicked off the celebration by honoring the graduates’ strength, determination, and courage. These qualities have carried them not just through academics, but also through the mental health challenges they’ve faced and overcome.

At Edgewood Community School, students find more than a classroom. They discover a safe place where healing and learning can happen at the same time. With wraparound therapeutic and educational support, the school helps young people living with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other challenges rediscover their confidence and potential.

Thanks to the work of Edgewood teachers, therapists, and staff, these students are able to graduate, return to mainstream schools, find jobs, secure housing, and build on their hard-earned successes.

For graduates like Armani S., that support changed everything. Now pursuing his dream of studying music in college, Armani embodies the resilience at the heart of every Edgewood story.

“They are always in your corner…Even if you mess up, they always have your back.”
—Armani S., Edgewood Community School Graduate

Fellow graduate Aulani B., who hopes to become a paramedic, echoed the same gratitude.

“The staff and students work so hard to help us achieve our goals.”
—Alauni B., Edgewood Community School Graduate

“Graduation is one of the most powerful milestones for our young people. Many never thought they would reach this point—but today, surrounded by family, they see the rewards of their effort, courage, and growth.”
—Roberto Orozco, Program Director, Edgewood Community School

At Edgewood Community School, graduation is more than a ceremony. It’s proof that with the right people, place, and path, every young person can heal, succeed, and thrive.
