During Edgewood Center for Children and Families” Corporate Breakfast held on October 24, 2017, at the Fairmont, more than 100 guests learned about technology, inspiring youth (and adults) on how to succeed personally and professionally, and they gained insights about Twitter and Square’s corporate social responsibility.
Special thanks to our two incredible speakers Jack Dorsey, CEO and founder of Twitter and Square, and Adam Messinger, former Chief Technology Officer at Twitter for providing an invigorating morning of conversations.
During the breakfast, Kristin Thomas, Associate Director of Corporate and Community Engagement at Edgewood, addressed the crowd. “You are where you are today because of someone in your life, a parent, guardian, or teacher, believed in your success. Edgewood youth and their families need us in the same way.”
As we embark on our Deserve to Learn campaign to do capital improvements on our Community School, we hope you’re inspired to partner with us and invest in Bay Area youth who attend our schools.
To receive updates on our Deserve to Learn campaign, or to schedule a tour of our campus, please don’t hesitate to contact Kristin directly at kristint@edgewood.org or at (415) 682-3149.
