On Friday, May 21, 2021, the Fatherhood Initiative of San Francisco will present “Empowering Fathers: A Virtual Fatherhood Conference” from 10am – 4pm.
This online conference and virtual event brings together a diverse range of Bay Area professionals who work day-in and day-out to guide and mentor fathers through the challenging journey that is fatherhood.
For many, 2020 has been a year of reckoning: a year of rising up against systemic racism and facing down a deadly pandemic, of confronting disparities in health care and dealing with a faltering economy. Everyday life was challenging enough, but now, fathers, like others, are facing the added stress of trying to keep it together for themselves and their children, while it sometimes seems like the world is falling apart.
This conference is aimed at empowering fathers to gain awareness and discover resources and tools that can help them take care of themselves and their children, now and in the future.
